  On 28th July 2018 a total number of Seven Cadets along with two teachers Mrs Lajwanti Yadav and Mrs Anju Yadav, participated in the Inter School Fest named ‘Cognivision’ held at NVN Jamnagar. Cadet Divya Gambhava (X B) ,Cdt. Anand Parmar (X B) and Cadet Avadh Vasoya (IX A) participated in Graffiti, under the theme- ‘Dharohar-Our Existence’. Cadet Aamil Lodhi (X A) and Cadet Sourya Ray (IX A) participated in English Extempore and spoke exceedingly well on the topic ‘Crime against women’ and ‘Terrorism’ respectively. Cdt Ankit Kumar (XI B) and Cdt Sudhanshu Kumar (X A) participated in Quest ( Maths and Science Quiz). Exposure to such events boosts up confidence as well as morale of the cadets.

          Inter school Basketball Tournament has been held at Saini School Balachadi on 23 Jul - 30 Jul 18. The Garuda house won the championship and the Runners-up of the championship was Shivaji House.

            Inter House English Debate Competition for classes IX, X and XI were conducted on 12 Apr 2018. It was aimed at selection of School Debate team for the West Zone Competition. The I position for ‘For’ the Motion was bagged by Cdt. Harshit Patidar (5887) from S P House and the II position was secured by Cdt. Nirav Machhar (5634) from Tagore House.The I position for ‘Against’ the Motion was bagged by Cdt. Vishal Parmar (5618) from Angre House and the II position was secured by Cdt. Akash Ranjan (5586) from Pratap House. Sardar Patel House was the Winner of the Inter House English Debate Competition for the session 2018-19 and the Runners-up of the competition were the cadets of Pratap House.

Inter House Hindi Debate Competition for a class IX, X and XI was conducted on 16 Apr 2018. It was aimed at selection of School Debate team for the West Zone Competition.The I position for ‘For’ the Motion was bagged by Cdt. Aman Kumar (5670) from Tagore House and the II position was secured by Cdt. Parth Mishra (5793), Garuda House.The I position for ‘Against’ the Motion was bagged by Cdt. Shubham Mayank Singh (5451) from Shivaji and the II position was secured by Cdt. Nishant Kumar (5603) from Garuda House. Shivaji House was the Winner of the Inter House Hindi Debate Competition for the session 2018-19 and the Runners-up of the competition were the cadets Garuda House.

• West Zone At Sainik School Satara

74 cadets along with 4 staff members had participated in West Zone Inter Sainik School Championship 2018-19 held at Sainik School Satara Maharashtra from 22 to 26 Apr 2018. The tournament was won by the host team, Sainik School Satara. The team Balachadi stood at 5th position. The participants gained a vast exposure in and out the play field.

Inter House Hockey Tournament 2018-19 was conducted from 06 – 08 May, 2018.   Six teams from all six senior houses participated in this tournament. All the six teams were divided into two pools. Pool ‘A’ and Pool ‘B’.The final match was played between Angre and Garuda House was held on 08 May, 2018. Angre House won the Match and lifted the trophy. The Score was 1- 0. Cdt. Manish Saurabh (5563) of Angre House was adjudged as the ‘Best Player’ of the tournament, Cadet Rajal Kumar (5834) of Angre House was adjudged as the ‘Best Goal Keeper’ while Cdt. Yogesh Kumar of Tagore House was adjudged as the ‘Best Emerging Player’ of the tournament.
