H.E. MR ADAM BURAKOWSKI, POLISH AMBASSADOR VISITS SAINIK SCHOOL BALACHADI
India and Poland have been connected since World War II on the humanitarian grounds, beginning with the compassionate gesture displayed by Jam Saheb Digvijay Sinhji of Jamnagar to nurture about 1000 Polish children orphaned during World War II, from 1942-46 in Balachadi Sainik School premises.
H.E. Mr Adam Burakowski, Ambassador of Poland in India along with the Director of Polish Institute Dr. Tomasz Gerlach visited Sainik School Balachadi, Jamnagar on 07 Mar 2018 in connection with discussion on Polish 100 years Centenary to be celebrated at Balachadi, Jamnagar during 3/4 Oct 2018.
They were given a warm welcome by the Principal Gp Capt Ravinder Singh. Dignitaries were taken for campus round in which they visited Academic Block, Hostels, Cadets’ Mess, Beach area and other heritage buildings in the school.
