SHASTRI HOUSE WINS INTER HOUSE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP (FRESHERS) 2022-23

Inter House Football Championship (Freshers) 2022-23 was organized in Sainik School Balachadi, Jamnagar on 06 Oct 2022.

Two Junior House Teams – Shastri and Nehru participated in this Championship. The event began with Chief Guest, Col Shreyash N Mehta, Principal, Sainik School Balachadi meeting with Teams and wishing them good luck. 

After a shining performance by both the Teams, Shastri House clinched the title by defeating Nehru House by 1-0 in the Championship. Cadet Tanmay of Nehru House and Cadet Rajyavardhan of Shastri House was adjudged as the as the ‘Best Player’ and as the ‘Best Goalkeeper’ of the Championship respectively.

The Chief Guest gave away the prizes to the winners. While addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest congratulated the winners and said what we can learn on ground cannot be learnt anywhere else. He said purpose of playing any game is not only to build physical stamina but also mental robustness.

Officers, Staff and Cadets were present on this occasion.
