INTER HOUSE OBSTACLE COMPETITION ORGANISED AT SAINIK SCHOOL BALACHADI

Sainik School Balachadi, Jamnagar organized the Inter House Obstacle Competition 2025-26 on 22 Dec 2025 with great enthusiasm and competitive spirit. The event is one of the unique annual competitions conducted by the School to test the physical endurance, agility, courage and teamwork of the Cadets.

Cadets of Classes IX to XI from five Senior Houses participated in the competition. The Cadets displayed remarkable stamina and determination as they negotiated a series of challenging obstacles such as Straight Balance, Gate Vault, Elbow Lift, Zig-Zag Balance, Double Ditch, Burma Bridge, Eight Feet Wall, Scramble Net, Monkey Rope, Vertical Rope, Crawl and Ramp. Almost all the Cadets successfully cleared the obstacles, reflecting their rigorous training and discipline.

After a closely contested event, Shivaji House emerged as the winner of the Inter House Obstacle Competition 2025-26 and lifted the Championship Trophy, completing the course in an impressive time of 17 minutes and 04 seconds.  Angre House secured the Runners-Up position. In the individual category, Cadet Pankaj secured the First Position, followed by Cadet Rudra in Second Position and Cadet Sujal in Third Position.

Col Shreyash Mehta, Principal, Sainik School Balachadi, gave away the Championship Trophy to the winning House.

On the occasion, the Officers and staff congratulated the winners and appreciated the spirited participation and commendable efforts of all the Cadets.
