SAHODAYA SAURASHTRA INTER-SCHOOL CODING COMPETITION “CODEQUEST 2025"
Sainik School Balachadi, Jamnagar organized the first-ever Sahodaya Saurashtra Inter-School Coding Competition “CodeQuest 2025 – Creativity Meets Logic” on its campus on 18 November 2025.
A total of eight schools participated in the event:
Nand Vidya Niketan Jamnagar, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Reliance Foundation School (KDARFS) Jamnagar, The Westwood School Rajkot, Podar International School Jamnagar, New Era Global Morbi, Delhi Public School (DPS) Jamnagar, Yagyavalkya Vidya Mandir Porbandar and the host school, Sainik School Balachadi.
The inauguration ceremony was held in the School Auditorium. Col Shreyash Mehta, Principal, Sainik School Balachadi, extended a warm welcome to all participating teams and conveyed his best wishes for the competition. In his address, he highlighted that CodeQuest 2025 provides a dynamic platform for students of different schools to interact, collaborate and exchange innovative ideas and best practices in the field of coding and technology.
The guest teams also visited the Leaders’ Gallery of the school and appreciated the rich legacy and ethos of Sainik School Balachadi.
In a remarkable performance, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Reliance Foundation School clinched all three individual trophies in the following categories:
· BlockQuest Conqueror
· PyClash Maestro
· WebWeave Elite
The prestigious overall title of “CodeQuest 2025 Grand Master of Code” was won by Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Reliance Foundation School, while “CodeQuest 2025 Silver Laurels” was secured by Nand Vidya Niketan, Jamnagar.
The competition was judged by Mr Bhavin Oza, Assistant Professor, JVIMS MCA College and Mrs Amita Pandey, HOD Computer Science, Air Force School, Jamnagar, who appreciated the high level of technical skills, creativity and problem-solving abilities displayed by the participants.
The competition was coordinated by Mr. Maitrik Jani, HOD Computer Science, who was in-charge of the event. The day-long event concluded with the Closing Ceremony, during which the Principal felicitated the winners with trophies and certificates, marking a proud and inspiring day for budding coders of the Saurashtra region.
