Visit to National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla – Passing Out Parade

Sainik School Balachadi organized an enriching and motivational educational tour for its cadets of class XI to some of the most prestigious defence institutions of the country. The primary highlight of the tour was the visit to the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, where cadets had the honour of witnessing the Passing Out Parade (POP). The parade showcased exemplary discipline, precision, and leadership, leaving an inspiring and lasting impression on every cadet.

• College of Military Engineering (CME), Pune

Cadets visited the renowned College of Military Engineering, where they were exposed to military engineering innovations, state-of-the-art laboratories, and various training modules that support the Indian Army’s engineering capabilities.

• INS Shivaji, Lonavala

At INS Shivaji, the premier training establishment of the Indian Navy for Marine Engineering, cadets learned about naval machinery systems, ship engineering, and the intensive training undertaken by naval personnel. The visit offered valuable insights into naval technical operations and discipline.

• Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune

The tour also included a visit to the prestigious AFMC, where cadets gained exposure to military medical training, advanced healthcare facilities, and the role of medical officers in the Armed Forces. This visit broadened their understanding of opportunities in military medicine and healthcare.
